A freelance designer and hobby musician
with a developing appreciation for science.
Although my knowledge is limited, my interests
are varied: I enjoy anthropology, geology,
paleontology, astronomy, and ornithology.
I intend to pursue a major in geology with
focus on geoarchaeology and paleontology.
If I were to consider any one person my
modern-day hero, it would be Carl Sagan.
His writing inspires a sense of wonder and
delight in science-- a kind of excitement
and reverence for the natural world that
could only be amply defined as "spiritual."
"When you make the finding yourself
- even if you're the last person on Earth
to see the light - you'll never forget it."
- Carl Sagan
"Isn't it sad to go to your grave without
ever wondering why you were born? Who, with
such a thought, would not spring from bed,
eager to resume discovering the world and
rejoicing to be part of it?" - Richard
Dawkins
"The massive bulk of the earth does
indeed shrink to insignificance in comparison
with the size of the heavens." - Nicolaus
Copernicus
