1. The theme is not displaying properly. (SMF 2.0 RC3)

If you find the theme does not display properly, please manually adjust your theme path settings.

1. Open Admin > Features and Options.
2. Go to Configuration > Themes and Layout > Theme Settings. 3. Click on theme title link.
4. Under Themes URLs and Configuration there are three url paths. Replace default with NAME_OF_THEME (for example: green-flowers) for both the images and directory urls. Instead of showing /Themes/default for the URLs it should be Themes/NAME_OF_THEME
5. Go down to the bottom of the page and click Save.
6. The theme should now display properly!

2. The English buttons are not showing up or appear as text. (SMF 1.1.x)

If the English buttons are not showing up-- or rather, showing up as text-- perform the following tasks:

1. Open your forum.
2. Right-click on one of the images that shows up as text. Click Properties.
3. Note the image path url. It is most likely Themes/NAME_OF_THEME/images/english/, but if you are installing for a different language it will be Themes/NAME_OF_THEME/images/OTHER_LANGUAGE/. It could also be that your /english folder is set for UTF, so please check that. It is probably something like /english-utf8.
4. Using your preferred FTP software (I prefer WinSCP):

a) Copy the files from Themes/NAME_OF_THEME/images/english/
b) Into Themes/NAME_OF_THEME/images/OTHER_LANGUAGE/

5. That should do the trick!

Photoshop warns that I do not have the fonts needed for the file.

All fonts used for the PSDs can be downloaded for free (some have restrictions... please read all license material if present). Note the missing font and do a search on Google for it. I do not provide the fonts myself because I do not have distribution rights.
